Hi, Ollie Lou here!

I’m from Oakland, California and have been doing hair professionally since 2017.
I am gender non conforming and started my career within the Bay Area LGBTQ community, offering sliding scale services to my peers, focusing on healing through creative expression and gender affirming care. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve worked on and it’s helped me stay on track with my art and connect with wonderful humans.

I am an independent artist and work with many mediums. I’m always working on some kind of project. I have my own accessory/jewelry shop and you can find me vending local art markets and conventions on my days off from the salon. I take a lot of inspiration from cartoons, anime, and folktales/fantasy. My imagination is colorful and my dreams are big!

I love rock and roll style freaky cuts (mullets/pixies/undercuts/bowl cuts, literally it's all so fun for me) as well as any maintenance/upkeep. I take my client's needs seriously and will never breeze over consultations/wants/desires.

I am experienced with all hair types (yes even you curly q's hehe) and I'm passionate about helping people practice self care, try new styles, and find comfort in self identity/presentation. My favorite thing about doing hair is helping people feel good.
